Last Thursday, the Tour de France came to town!
More specifically, Montpellier was the starting point for Stage 12 of the cycling race (Montpellier – Mont Ventoux). First, a parade of sponsors drove through with gifts for the kiddies, music and a huge crowd…

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season, regardless of your beliefs of Christmas itself. For me, it’s a great opportunity to spend time with friends or family and to eat yourself stupid.
Most of our family and friends are thousands of miles away, but this year, they came to us for celebration and feasting. We had 6 guests in the end: from Leipzig, Germany; Barcelona, Spain and from London, England.
We had a brilliant vacation – loads of fun, friends and good food! I had so much fun I pretty much forgot to take photos, actually. Nevertheless there are a few, so click here to see the whole set of photos on flickr.
