Things have warmed up a little around here lately, so we headed off on a last-minute trip to Central Otago –  where warm weather is usually even warmer! – over the Labour Day weekend.

We loaded up our bikes and headed out to a B&B near Alexandra and then took some leisurely rides along the trails in the area – out to Clyde one day, and out to Chatto Creek the other day. The scenery along the rivers (the Clutha and Manuherikia) is breath-taking, plus there’s a great pub in Chatto Creek right along the trail – just perfect for an afternoon in the sunshine.
